Contra-ritual

Performance, 2021

Between the singing of shamanic ícaros, Gregorian chants, and witchcraft; a spell addresses the experience of being a woman indoctrinated by the Catholic church and its dogmas. Through this syncretic and ceremonial act, the work seeks to vindicate spirituality through the appropriation of elements from various rituals, psychomagic traditions and worldviews.
